Wintering Your Mums
Plant early for developing a stronger root system. The better established the roots the better the chances of them surviving the winter.
Continue to water them through the fall. Dried out mums will not make it through the winter.
Don't trim dead growth until spring. Untrimmed mums are more likely to survive the winter.
